i was there sunday man
i turned down, yes down my boost to30 psi
i was afraid of nuking my turbo
me and rabbittree ran
i ran a 14.47 best et in my first run, then it went all downhill from there ,as it got hotter
i think i did 2 maybe 3 runs at 14.59
like .2 sec off my normal pace, and .5 seconds off my best et with my old garrett
i blame the heat
Throttle cables ftw

Optiks,You may want to try the T3 from the 1.6 as it doesn't have to work as hard to make the same boost as the k24.Also its hotside flows way better than the k24's.It seems that when were pushing these poor old turbochargers (t3/k24) that they don't really like to work any harder than 30 psi for extended peroids  .

But seriously while your pondering about which bigger turbo to use just find a t3 and try it out at 30 psi,You may be suprised how long it lasts.

this is what i eneded up doing for the time being. its a garett with the same bolt pattern as my old k24 and has a weird block off plate on the waste gate , is it a t3? feels pretty strong at 6psi just need to throw by boost controller on  :D
