i have a garrett turbo with an exhaust a/r of 1.15 that i want to use for a secondary turbo in a sequential setup on my M-TDI. too big?
Just a tad. The 1.6TD uses a .36 which is the smallest I know of. Typical T3's use a .48 or .63.
yeah and those are a single turbo setup, i was gonna use a smaller turbo for low end and the bigger one for the upper end.. its still too big isn't it... i was just hoping some one would say it was all good heheh, this thing is HUGE
I would run it as a med to big single on a cummins or a duramax.
hahah yeah, it makes a good center piece. maybe i could bolt it onto my motor somewheres to make it look like im running a big turbo
I would run it as a med to big single on a cummins or a duramax.
i fund out that this thing is the factory turbo off of a powerstroke, its a tp38
Too big for even your low pressure turbo. For basic headwork, crappy stock manifolds shoot for about .48-.63 for your low pressure turbine.
