I really like working on VW diesels.
It used to be my most favorite way to pass time.
That's until I got my Golf running. Now driving my '91 Golf TD beats fixing VWs... by just a little.
Tornado red, '91 Golf 4 door, with M-TDI 12mm pump, south bend clutch, VNT-15 turbo, 02A trany
MK4s: 2000 TDI jetta, 2003 TDI wagon, 2000 golf 2.0 gasser.
'84 Rabbit with 1.7TD KY block pistons bored to 80mm, VNT-15
'84 GTI with stock 1.6TD starion intercooler.

That is true. But at times right after you have it going something else needs repaired.Like today i know i needed a valve cover gasket and i replaced it but some know i was not paying addtension to what i was doing and put it on wrong had a little oil link i though.Well it turned out to be a even better leak and i had to get a new gasket and now all is well.
