Is the DP supposed to be made of cast iron on the 1.9 AAZ? Mine isnīt and it looks quite large, havenīt measured it though.
I was thinking of replacing it for a bigger one ($$$   )but now I just might weld on a 2.25-2.5" tubing on it and buy beer for the money i saved, oh happy days

The DP has 2.25" outer diameter..It is a stock part, I went to the stealership and asked. Iīll keep it and put the money on a proper IC instead.
Maybe could be used as an upgrade DP for a mildly tuned 1.6TD if it fits?

A 2.5" ID DP would be a very beneficial upgrade.

it may have a 2.25 outer diameter but the bends shrink down to 1.5" at least.  I got mine upgraded, opened up the top end a bit, more growl from the exhaust.  Highly recommended

Well the 1.9TD downpipe isn't that bad compared to the 1.6TD's. I'm considering picking one up as an upgrade to the 1.6td. Plus it does away with those nasty C-clamps (although exhaust bolts ALWAYS seize in rust...).
