NA31X vs NA34X
« on: May 20, 2006, 07:17:28 pm »
I am trying to find out some more information on the NA31X I have found that it was used on Turbo Mercedes applications and should have a 155bar breaking pressure but cannot confirm this, I am in the process of either buying NA34X injectors or trying out a set of 31 just need to find some more information.

any help appreciated, will try to find a MB forum I am part of and ask the same question.

thanks
Seth

NA31X fits motor 617.952 3.0l 81-85 Turbo Diesel

hmm

also when I look up NA34X on some sites it pulls up a injector but only lists D1000-88785 which also comes up everytime I pull up a 31X

does this mean same injector as far as breaking pressure?

well anyway, NA34X seems to work fine in a VW... I got them yesterday and installed them tonight since my dad needed good injectors in his car and I have injectors all apart in our garage, I told him wait 30min and I will have good injectors for you.

so we swapped my injectors and the car starts fine, I might have to get the timing slightly advanced since they are 155bar NEW not slightly worn out. drives okay but I only have an ECO pump on the car right now, will report back on smoke and power. I have a 1/4 uphill I test stuff, which is on my way home from work.
