Horn blowing fuse, Mk 2 Jetta

My wife's 92 Jetta is very hard on horn fuses, obviously a short somewhere. Anyone save me a little time looking for it? Is there a spot in the system that's bad for this on a high mileage car? Lots of places to trace that wire..........

I had a similar problem when I had gotten my mk2 jetta TD....
it was my grandparents and after 15 years it had started to fall into disarray...

the horn would always blow fuses and I need to get it working for the safety, so what happened was I knew there were two horns, one on the rad support I believe and one under/in the drivers wheel well.... I cant really remember, but I unhooked one of them at the lead by the battery and the one horn had a short in it, so I left the working one plugged in and it's been like that since.

Thanks, I'll try that. Got lots of spares if  it's that simple too!
