As part of the campaign to change the engine line by GD diesel engines on the new product lines of the Japanese automaker, the old 2.5-liter engine on the old version is replaced by the 2.4-liter engine on the new version. This new engine block is capable of producing 147 horsepower and 360 Nm of torque when accompanied by a 6-speed automatic transmission, 342 Nm if combined with a 5-speed manual gearbox.
