single stage vs. 2 stage injectors
« on: May 11, 2018, 01:42:58 pm »
I have the original single stage injectors from my '92 Passat AAZ, they are 96 mm. in length.
Just to be absolutely clear, these are NOT the taller 2-stage injectors.
Are these compatible with the 1.6 engines? How about the injector hard line compatibility?

I imagine the nozzles are a different part number but they'd almost certainly run fine in either engine.  The lines are not interchangeable between the 1.6 and the 1.9 engines.  The 1.9 block is taller and that difference in height affects the injection lines.

Can you post pictures when you have them out? Preferably next to AAZ or 1.6 injectors? I've never seen a set before.
