I got a M-tdi pump what's the plastic cover thing?

 I bought an mtdi pump from William Smith.
 It has a plastic cover over the fuel stop solenoid.

How do I remove it?

I have seen that before on a pump.  I don't know what its function is and I don't know how to remove it.  I do have confidence that you'll get it figured out, though.   :)

Plastic part, plus hacksaw blade might equal removal here.

Ahhh the simple solution. I was going to grab the cutoff wheel.
 My buddy ran the part number on the cover,.. I'll post it later.
 It looks like 2 bolts clamp the plastic cover onto a normal 1.6D looking stop solenoid.
 We'll see why there are 3 wires.

ORCoaster:
Just looks like a cover for the stop solenoid really.  Not really needed, three wires Eh?   Will be interesting to know what it hooks up to.
