Like the subject said. I got a 1.9TD pump who is leaking between the head and the pump housing. I checked the torquing of each bolt and it was in the specification.

Why shes leaking there ? Any gasket ?

Yep, there's a gasket that that is sort of a molded o-ring, goingbetween the governor cover and the main pump housing.  Old ones seem to relax and get sort of flattened, so that is probably what your sealing problem is.

New ones are included with part of a VW pump rebuild kit.  It is part number 6 in this kit:

If I might...

The pump Wingaman has is mine, and...he doesn't have it, because I do!  :D

It seems that it leeks somewhere around the number 2 of your diagramand from the top. At first we tought it came from the advance lever shaft and replaced the seals in that area. There was considerable loosearound theshaft so we tought we had solved the problem.

Not at all.

So we removed the pump again to find it waswet at the end, between the body andthe block in wich the hoses are pluged.

Seems to me this a greater deal to fox than the timing advance lever shaft, so the pump is on its wayto a shop where it will get a complete rebuilt.

I have seen these o-rings leak because of water. After long periods of inactivity the moisture gathers in this area inside the bottom of the dist block and rusts between the metal block and aluminum case. This rust works it's way under the oring and causes the leak. It can be replaced but is an SOB to do as springs & little parts have a tendancy to launch out all over the place when the dist block is removed.

Biggest problem with a leaky pump is that it drips on the coolant hoses softening them and causing a loss of water. This is not good :shock:

Thanks for the feed back. I far as I have noticed, the fuel only leeked along the block itself. The hoses seam to clear.

Almost glad to know this job is (too) hard (for me) to do : I don't feel like I spend too much for nothing (though quite alot  :? )

In any Bosch authorized workshop.
Does not cost a lot. (28$ can tx incl. for me)
