Sad news

CRSMP5 has passed away.

The guy was different and a friend of mine. Sad to see him go. No more toaster rides or jackrabbit build or parts swapping. He was a wizard with all MK1 issues. He will be missed.

I wondered what happened to him.  Seems he got kind of radical somewhere along the way and then just never appeared anymore.  I was thinking something medical and not getting a good balance on his prescriptions.  I have seen it before and once the dosage is correct you never know they are any different.  But if they forget or take too many all crazy talk starts up again.

I knew Chris since 1996. He was responsible for getting me interested in vw diesels.
I bought my first diesel (a mk1 coupe) from him and we were in regular contact for the last 21 years, working on dozens of projects together and regularly bouncing ideas off of each other.
His contributions to the VW community were many and great and he will be missed.

RIP Chris Scofield
