Holset swap info and flange adapter

It has been a few years since anyone chimed in on this one.  But others may answer the questions if they know the answers.  I do not, sorry.

I just completed this swap and many thanks to all that contributed to the thread, Alcaid and Gizmoman posted a lot of info here and on the Samba.

The oil line fittings do take a minute to figure out and not everyone has the same gear. My stock oil line fitting was m10 1.0 at the oil flange. I used a M10 1.0 to AN 4 adapter. I then used an AN 4 stainless line to the turbo. The turbo needed a M10 1.5 to AN4 adapter.

For a drain line I found a flange to fit the turbo with a 1/2 npt thread. This joined a 45* to 5/8 hose barb. On the oil pan I used a 5/8  hose barb to m16 x 1.5 fitting. This worked with my previous oil line location on the bottom of the stock oil pan.
