I'm new to this forum, so I'm sorry if this has already been covered in the past, but: I'm looking to rebuild a 1.9TD and I need a good source of rebuild parts, hopefully Canadian, but I can order from the US if there's no good suppliers in-country. I did do a search here, but the names that came up in the posts were either "can't be displayed" or "website under construction". I'm not looking to hotrod it, so performance parts aren't really what I want, just decent quality, reasonably-priced parts to build a reliable and economical stock engine. Ideally, I'd like to hear from people who can recommend suppliers from personal experience. Anyone able to help?
You beat me to it. I'm looking for the same thing.
VM Autohaus in Burnaby BC. They can get just about anything that's still available. Old school son and pop operation, you'll need to call them.
Burnaby auto parts is pretty good. They can't find everything but they have amazing customer service and are cheaper then lordco/napa. They will also take the time to research and try and find part numbers that don't pop up in their system.
If you pm me a list of what you want I can send you prices from my supplier.
