85 Golf in Kentucky
« on: May 15, 2016, 09:56:32 pm »
Hello, I have been looking for a clean/dry MK2 Golf for a while and picked this up in Ohio a few weeks ago and started pieceing it together

It is a 1.6D car

I changed the front end because I like the round lights better

And added some wheels/tires

I love the car, last week it threw the alt belt on the freeway and ripped the timing belt,(luckily it did not slip or break) so I installed a new timing belt today but can not get my Alternator pulley situation lined out I bought two used pulleys of a member on another forum and they would not work, so it is sitting in the garage while I drive my 11mpg truck 100 mile round trip to work every day  :(

Someone put new (later) bumpers on that car. They look good on it.
These two-door Golfs are pretty durable over the long haul.
Alpine white is nice.
The mask and the shot(s) are actually an IQ test. If you are wearing or circulating, you just failed the test. I can't feel sorry for you.

Looks great. I like rounds better than the aeros any day.

Many things you can do to get around the alt situation you have.

Thanks, and yeah Dakotakid really helped me with my Alt problem, I spent the day setting his system up and I think it is going to work out

What pulley set did you end up using?
