Need an injector tester for not much?
« on: March 17, 2016, 03:54:54 pm »
Ebay item: 311514712700

If you have been needing/wanting a ready-made injector tester that really DOES work for not much coins, this is it.
Mine came with 3 different pressure pipes. I assume the smaller one here is the one for us.

This person is willing to take an offer.
The pressure gauge on mine seems to be right on the noots as it demonstrates the 0.05 mm (0.002 inch) equals 73 psi listed in the Bentley.

The mask and the shot(s) are actually an IQ test. If you are wearing or circulating, you just failed the test. I can't feel sorry for you.

There are a few on ebay for similar prices. The Gauges go to 8000 psi, Bar is not displayed. The gauge reads in 100 psi increments that equals to about 7 bar. Not the precisest gauge for our purpose, but will get you in range. what injectors may need such a high reading? Thats over 500 bar!

The one I made from a bottle jack a decade ago is still working fine.

Not mine but here's the gist.  http://vwdiesel.net/forum/index.php/topic,17870.0.html

There are gauges on eBay.  You can get a large face 3000 psi gauge with 10-20 psi increments relatively inexpensively.

You are entirely responsible for any injury/death that results from such a project.  Don't inject diesel into your skin - that appendage will need to be amputated.  Don't make it in a way that it blows up and kills or blinds you.
