WTB IP parts
« on: January 12, 2016, 05:57:45 am »
Hi All,

When I was resealing my pump, the governor got hung up on something as I was putting it back together, and bent. I bent it back but I'd like to replace it. I think that the AAZ and 1.6td pumps have the same governor?

Anyone want to pull a governor from a ruined old pump? Is $10 fair?

Also, much less importantly, I need a spring 'seat' for the throttle arm. It's probably easiest to just sell the whole mess of springs, if someone has that . . .

So it's an early 1.6TD pump that you are working on?

It's an AAZ, but I heard that the part is the same. Is that not right?

There are two different styles of idle control on the 1.6 pumps.  One is the same as the AAZ while the other is different.  An early 1.6 pump has the idle control spring as part of the governor spring "stack" while the later 1.6 and AAZ pumps have the idle spring connected to a separate arm inside the pump which is separate from the governor.
