Need oil return help from K14 to Garrett T3
« on: August 31, 2015, 06:03:50 pm »
Can I use the old return line with a fitting like this? And would it fit with my old return line?

Or should I just buy this kit?

Sorry not familiar with turbos and fittings. I didn't find anything on google search to help me.

My return line i have now

In a word, no.

You need to just make it from scratch or buy it done. That hose that they are selling is just rubber hose with the fancy stainless wrap. The 45 angle lines it up so it perfectly rubs the cv shaft. Take your hose to a hose shop and have them tell you what size and what everything you need is.

Thank you ended up making from scratch. Took the K14 line found a T3 pipe drain cut the k14 line then used hose connected the two using 2 hose clamps on both connections. So far leak free!

yep thats how i would have done it, unless you can weld small stuff it'd be hard to make your own drain off the turbo.  its the same thing you have to do to run a k24 or t3 on an aaz or tdi
