You will want the 28 anyway. I was able just to hook my 90 degree elbows up and miss the core support structure to head back to the engine. Narrower and you may have to have a stub piece in between. Either way I think an intercooler is better than no intercooler.

Thanks for that insight on intercooler length.  I'll go with the 28"x5.5"x2.5" kit then.  Did you see a decrease in max boost pressure due to temperature reduction of the charge air?

Did this size intercooler end up fitting pretty well under the big bumper? I am just curious as I am going to be needing an intercooler soon because I am trying to get a little more "fun" out of my ecodiesel.

Thanks for any help! Trying to make the intercooler install and buy process as simple as possible! Lol, even though I'm sure it'll be hectic finding the piping and everything.
