Well I need a new clutch but can't find anything better than stock for a 1.6 TD FF code trans so please point me in a direction? I plan on building the engine including internals as much as possible so strong is key.

Upgrade to a 210mm flywheel and clutch. If you are going for bunches of more power look for a company called Clutchnet. Don't get a solid hub clutch. When you get a flywheel there are 1 pin and 2 pin 210mm versions, get the clutch that matches.

The OD of all the 020 flywheels are the same IIRC. The inside clutch surface is the only difference. I have seen 4 speed trans with 210 in them no issues.
