Will a jk code 1.6NA fit into a 1988 golf 5 speed?

Just like the topic says, I have a chance to buy a jk code 1.6NA diesel engine but I'm wanting to make sure that it will fit.

No, it is not a direct fit.
But, the block and head is the same. It will fit if you are "fit" enough to know how to make it fit.
