Pretty dumb for a smart guy
WTB: Beetle pancake pipe
« on: February 13, 2015, 05:09:18 pm »
My good friend has an EARLY ALH beetle.

His pancake pipe is, ah, missing. There was an accident with the oversize mud tires he is rolling on. Cost him a side-mount intercooler too. The ALH pancake pipes were ribbed plastic rather than the aluminum the 1.8T got. We already scored a beetle side-mount.

Since it's an early ALH, the charge tube from the turbo to the pancake does not enlarge to 2" like the later charge tube.

So we need either an early beetle tdi pancake pipe, or a late beetle ALH turbo outlet pipe and either late beetle ALH pancake pipe or a 1.8T beetle pancake pipe.

Yeah, the beetle plumbing is different, and the early beetle plumbing is differenter.

It's his daily driver, so he is currently rolling around NA.

Would also consider a rocking great deal on a beetle FMIC kit, not that those exist.
