Bottom end together with arp rod bolts and rod journals plastigauged, all new bearings and non integrated main bearings, SHCS  main bolts, got head bolted on with hylomar also arp studs...

I do, strangely. I am not kidding when I say I really want to know how it holds up. I think having a head that didn't go through a billion heat cycles over the last 35 years would be great.

Ya I am Curious myself, I was decently supprised when I got the head and ended up weighing the head I had previously on the engine with the carbon buildup and the new head still weighed more.... Well not now that I removed a lot of material porting it..... Guess that means one of two things it is either a heavy pile of crap or built beefy..... As long as nothing gernades I'll be good...... I'll definetly run the crap out of it and report back

I've been told those heads make a "chink-chink-chink-chink" noise right before they develop oil pressure. Let me know if that is true!

Finally getting this thing back together after 2 years of crap, all I have left is exhaust fabrication and finish intercooler piping ... getting excited

Yes this engine has done really well I am at 214 hours on engine and it Performs awesome I am running about 20psi boost and it’s been solid ... and I drive the *** out of it
