I'm looking for engine bolt pattern diagrams.
« on: January 05, 2015, 05:05:44 pm »
I was directed here by a mechanic on Reddit.

I'm looking to mount a 1.5L diesel to a T-90 transmission from a 1965 CJ5 Jeep. I'm utilizing the T-90's bellhousing and flywheel and already have the adapter for the flywheel made. I need to provide my machinist with engine bolt pattern diagrams that show where the center of rotation is. I could measure them myself, but I would prefer professionally made diagrams if I can get them.

Does anybody have a diagram for the 1.5L VW Diesel(engine code: CK)?

Does any also happen to have the same info for the Hurricane F-Head 134 I4 engine used in Jeeps during the 50s and 60s?

Thanks. I shoot a few emails out. Hopefully they can provide me with info even though I'm not a customer yet.

I saw your plexiglas template you made. How'd that work out?

pretty good. template was transferred to an inch and a 1/2 aluminum plate, I have it bolted to an engine now. Need time and good weather to finish it up.

There is a cad drawing of all the end of the engine the bellhousing is on for all the diesel engines up to the alh for sure. That should be all you need.
