Steering is twerking.

(85' Jetta TD with 92 GLI suspension rebuild and manual steering) I have noticed recently my steering doing some odd stuff. It used to just shake the steering wheel a tad when excellerating on certain roads. Never gave much thought to it. Then lately I have noticed it really wanted to jerk back in little twerking motions (not unlike Miley Cyrus) to the center or around the center. If I am going straight it might jerk left and right. If I make a right turn then its really noticeable and will almost jerk it out of your hand towards center. It does not do any of that making a left hand turn.

I have checked everything that I could underneath in the front. I have not been able to take a wrench to any of the parts yet with the wheels off the ground (I was going to do that today, but it started raining (I really need to gut the car port out)). But I need shake things around and the only 2 things I notice were the drivers side CV boot at the wheel was leaking some grease, but it still has plenty, and the passenger side bushing for the sway bar is a little worn.

I will be taking it to Apex Tuning tomorrow and they are going to check it out as well. But you guys are the experts so your input is valuable. Thanks.

I had that issue on my old Golf before I parted it. Turned out to be a balljoint that had a scary amount of play and ALL of the grease was gone but the rubber dust boot had no signs of damage/cracks.

Thats what it was. Got it tightened and aligned. And it works good now.
