I have a 1.6 NA diesel with a k14 turbo bolted to it. This engine was in my old daily, then I swapped it to the cabrio. I am unsure of the mileage, but it ran very well and boosted to 18psi while getting 40's mpg. This is mated to a 1.6d trans, with the tdi 5th. It comes with everything ready to go into a mk1, pass side axle is brand new with 0 miles on it, I have new glow plugs to include just as a preliminary. I baught the serpentine belt conversion kit, which is genuine ABF tensioner and in my opinion a NECESSITY for these engines as the v belt slips all the time on these. This kit cost me 450 and has only a few thousand miles on it. The injection pump was removed, after swapping into the cabrio the tank was filled with bad gas and clogged the filter causing the pump to go air bound. I removed to do a timing belt and mod the pump but never did.
For the asking price, I can also include a fmic and the couplers to fit directly to the k14, and the manifold, just need the piping!
Engine, trans, axles, mounts, serp belt setup, basically everything to go into a mk1: 800$ picked up!
