Sonova...Removing turbo...graduated to removing engine

Well, I finally decided to pull the turbo so that I could send it off to passenger performance. Who's lame idea at Volkswagen was it to mount the turbo to the manifold with that little clearance that you'd need a swivel to remove the bolts?

I was going to pull the engine later this year to overhaul it, but that seems to have been expedited as I've now got two big VW garage ornaments. That won't do.
