The largest I know of is the 210mm setup. Maybe someone else knows of something other than that?

Thanks, when I put my AAZ mtr in the installer said that the 210 I bought from Clutch net would not fit I did not think that was right but I had to go with it so I have a 200 in there and an expensive 210 sitting on the shelf.  You live and learn!!

The AAZ would have been 210mm stock. So either your clutchnet clutch needed a different flywheel/pp combo than stock? Or he was a moron that doesn't know snakes from ladders..

How is the 200mm? Stock?? Is it slipping?

There was a large *IIRC* 26 spline for the 020 and the smaller 24 spline for the earlier 020. Tthe outsides were the same it was the splined shaft in the center he could have been talking about.

I do believe the only way that could happen is if the OP bought a clutch disk for a 16v motor.. I am certain all production line 8v 020's were the smaller clutch spline. Even the mk3 1.9 AAZ 020's.

I believe it is the smaller spline the diameter I was told was why it would not fit. The 200 is holding up just fine.  I was told that it is a hvy duty 200 if that is possible. I turned up the fueling today according to the post "how to    make your IDI faster"  and still held just fine.

Your FN for sure will have the smaller splines, but if you got the clutch from him it is a possibility that his car had the larger spline trans. I don't know what the aaz got, but I know some mkiii got the big spline clutch. This is from broke vw...CHE,DFQ,DGD,AMC 3.45 1.94 1.28 0.97 0.80 3.67 From '93 115hp,Large input shaft

It should hold you for a while. Just make sure to get the small spline 210mm if you need another.
