91 mk2 jetta right tailight doesnt work

Just replaced all the bulbs in the back end everything works except 1 of the tail lights on the right side any ideas?

 I'm betting it's the headlight switch.
Tornado red, '91 Golf 4 door,
with a re-ringed, '84 quantum, turbo diesel, MD block

If it's teh same problem as mine (no power tot eh light) there's an easy cheat. Just run a jumper left to right, spade connectors are there  on the lights and make it easy. |Not the right way, but it works. Have done it on 2 different cars.....
