Yesterday was the very last last day that the mk2 GTD was going to do the 140 odd mile commute to work. How it knew this is beyond my ken, but the head gasket finally let go halfway there. It wouldnt have mattered on the way home, as I have AA relay which would have dragged it's carcass to wherever I chose. The odds of this? miles driven with dodgy gasket? 7 weeks X 700 miles a week, 4900 miles, going POP! in the last 35 miles, 140 to one against. The car has a sense of humour.
To cut to the chase, K-Seal? It don't work.
