bigger then hotwheel.. sold at stealership mid 80s... has major corrosion issues... but to take apart.. and redo to match your mk2.. take some skill.. but imo worth it.. no idea how it got corroded so badly.. fell off desk.. was on carpet behind desk for years.. and walla..

all i want to know is how carpet did that against a inner wall at that.. carpet was new.. i got that back when alot did not have digital cameras on ebay.. was supposed to be a mk1.. had it good 13 years.. forgot i had it till i moved in 07.. and found it corroded... then sat in box till uncovered other week.. figured theman would appreciate it.. but he hates his mk2 now.. so since it needs paint.. maybe a toy car fool gotta own..
Was the carpet new? If it was, perhaps the formaldehyde that was gassing off did it.
new as i installed it in 98.. got that 99ish.. and the carpet it landed on never saw any type of use for where it was... no idea when it fell off desk.. just between when i got it and when i moved in 07..
but still sweet old school item..
