
2-07 jetta mk5 pd, dsg.... shows up on hook... car stalled while driving.. hitting key = smoke... motor locked solid.... remove lower pan to get to crank bolts to see if it stripped teeth off belt... found that.... dsg baby... popped those out the tin by the axle flange.. they bent the tin to fall on pan like that too...
and who says xzn bolts suck...

look at that hour glass shape!!!! 8mm crank bolt w/xzn head... how do you do that??? all 3, well 3.667777777 bolts... popped head off 4th.. but its body stuch in hole till i unscrewed it w/screwdriver... was not tight in crank sprocket thank god... this was off car i did cam in few weeks ago.. 06 pd mk5 jetta...

Are the ringlets a tapered spring?
its got multi mass flywheel... and those are spring parts... look like broken valve springs(yes in size. need to put quarter by one)... my biggest worry is the aluminum and locked solid due to it mess in the bell housing.. if it cracked or poked hole in it.. we will have big issues..
