I think I'll be there.  It's a 535 km trip from Sudbury but I've got to be home for fathers day to go to Church.  I'll be bringing along all the stuff to change a timing belt just in case somebody wants to do an impromptu seminar.   :lol:  If it doesn't happen no big deal.

Some bad news was just posted by Gerry (the host of the GTG) over on the TDIclub forum.

Oh that's very sad. :(
However, I have a little bit of room at my place. Maybe we can have a small Mk1 meet at my place? ;) I have some tools and a Bentley for Mk1 and need some work done on my Rabbit!

lets get together! we should schedule something... maybe ask gerry if he can host? maybe just have a small IDI meet?

i'll have the late-season GTG at my place again this year if you guys are up for it, but the backyard is a mess right now with a renovation of sorts. sometime in late august is good if we want to use my house.

Rob (Macguyver on TDIClub.com) and I were discussing this today; a local GTG sounds good :). I will be setting up my BioDiesel processor this weekend so figured on having a BioDiesel demo/GTG sometime in mid-August. Anyone interested? E-mail me or post here :).

There's been a sad lack of gtg's this summer compared to last, at least local ones.
I'll do my best to attend anything planned...renovations can sit for a day :wink:
