k14 reclocking
« on: August 25, 2013, 08:00:56 am »
I want to recroute my intercooler pipes so I can run an Eco airbox. Only way I can figure is if my compressor outlet points straight down and run the pipe on the frame like how it is on a mk4. I just want to know if reclocking is as simple as loosening and rotating it?

Clocking the K14 intake scroll is as easy as loosening the clamp bolts on the perimeter of the scroll, rotating scroll to desired position and tightening the bolts back down.

but he forgetting rear engine mount a b3 has vs a mk4... no where for pipe to go... heck mk4 has that silly squish tube to make it fit.. that is not imo good flowing.. with bottom mount vnt.. may be able to use the factory vnt squish pipe and will clear the axle.. but to closk his top mount turbo on a b3.. no way with the rear mount..
