passat 110 tdi to mtdi but with e vnt 15

well i picked up a passat 97 tdi 110hp with the vnt 15 , was looking to put a MTDI pump on her but run all the E parts(exepet injection pump) would the vnt turbo run fine or would it limp out turbo side and not give boost

I'm not sure but I think it would limp.  Regardless, you'd need to run the pedal potentiometer and cable along with all of the other engine management.  At that point it seems easier to me to just fit an electronic pump.

i am looking to put the engine in my euro van when i have it sorted (only in passat as a test bed ), may copy your mechanical set up for the vnt controler Andrew if this set up works beter for me cheers
