I have a used cat from a 92 eco diesel would it bog down my exhaust flow much if I run it on my passat? I'm sick of stinky exhaust and also hope it can cut down on some cabin noise.

Is a cat the best solution?  What are you currently running for exhaust?

Maybe just some minor change vs installing a cat, could fix your problems.

 ;D

stupid gsser slip joint for cat = leak... th tail pipes dumped so the soot flowed up the cut out in the bumper fo rthe left tow hook... and there is body vent over there.. :D

straight piped now.. it extends past the bumper.. i told him to dimple thepipe.. measure to its end.. see how soot nd all is.. then cut off 1/2" via sawzal and such till he gets soot build up.. then get a nice tip for it and extend it back out to that spot of no soot vs soot.. 2.5" think 125 out door.. i took him to my place who does not harrass me on no cat diesel conversion stuff.. the close to work and maybe better deal would refuse to s no cat..
