Hey guys I'm looking for a few opinions,
I've got a 1z m tdi conversion in my daily driver polo 6n and I'm just about to upgrade my turbo as its seen better days
Current spec is,
Stock 1z block and stock cylinder head
Landrover 300tdi IP
1z (.197?) injectors
Audi 1z inlet
Audi 1z garrett t2 and manifold (like the k14/k24 one)
Front mount intercooler
2.5" downpipe and system
I've just got my hands on some Bosch .216 nozzles and a pd 150 intake that im fitting this week and I'm looking to change the turbo at the same time, I've got a choice of 3 to hand, a kkk k-14, a garrett gt-20 from a merc 2.2cdi and a garrett gt-1749v from a passatt. Obviously I'd have to make up a Libby style linkage for the vnt but what would be my best bet out of the choices I have?
if you have the vnt and think you can make it work use it! I'm using a k14 on mine and I like it but vnt..
For no vnt I would take that GT 20. If you don't use that how much shipped to usa

I've just tonight been given a very healthy gt-17 off of a merc vito cdi van, it's a lot larger than the t2 I'm using right now so I'm wondering how that might perform?
How does the t2 compare to the k14? the looks almost the same.

ud have to give more detail like wheel sizing and a/r of the housings. but if u post all the serial and part numbers u can usually tell alot from them. especially on garrett and kkk stuff
