i shimmed the intermediate spring/seat thingee with another washer from another governor(i got a ton of junk pumps for test),like in all the posts, ive been studying them,,well at first, iput 2 washers in there, cause i thought some posts said to preload the main spring some, ididnt wanna go sick yet,,soi basically had the intermediate spring shimmed up,wellit seemed funny at high revs over 3500 or so,, kind of like i either had max fuelscrew in too far,or idle high,,cant be max fuel, its up to the lockcollar, and the idle screw has like 2-3 mm threads showin,,,,iturned out the max fueltemporarily before testing, soi hade idle control,,,,it would hang a little at hi revs, and drop off abruptly around 3k or so,,i took it apart again, and removed 1 washer,,,,tried it ,,was better but not great,,,,,,,oh yea, after that test, i tried moving throttle lever 1 spline,so i could turn in fuel, and gain some idle screw back,,,,well on that test,it killed the response totally,,,not too worried about the max rpm screw, cause itried it neutral and was well above 5 k ,,,,whats the deal with some of the idle springs taller than others?should i try swapping one of those???wonder if it has an effect on helping the revs drop when you are at no throttle, hirevs, ingear?wake up pump guys,,what should itry next? :?: :?
