engine rebuild 2 yrs ago: prestart/break-in procedure?
« on: June 23, 2013, 10:37:08 pm »
The engine has been in a 60 degree, dry, heated garage for two years.   bearings, cam, etc, well lubed, bores dry.  Will I have rust on the bores?
pre-oil suggestions?    yes, I'm slow (and old) thanks in advance.

Given your location I might suspect it but in a heated garage?  Likely not.  Still you can be on the safe side and pull the glows and give it some WD 40 and and a squirt of oil and turn the engine over by hand for awhile with the glows out.  Can't think that will hurt it.
