AAZ RINGS??? WTB
« on: May 29, 2013, 06:31:36 pm »
WTB: vw part # 028 198 153 A    should be a piston ring set for 79.75mm bore. I have a set of pistons that needs them. Let me know, you canadian guys may have some, so I am not afraid of that at all.

Yes they are the same, so is the ALH from what I have read. But finding an oversize ring from someone other than Prothe is hard to do. Especially when I have the first oversize .010" not .020" over. My dealer said he can get them but it is pricey at 170.00 so I figure I would ask the forums. I think I should be under 100.00 with shipping, but no one seems to have them.

I don't understand what just happened but I found the .25mm over at rock auto. I searched before with nothing and these are the best rings I think they make IMHO.

We will see BYM but I think I may go here. Thanks guys
