How are the drivers side filters piped?
Anecdotal experience says they run better with warm fuel, least in the winter. Six hours into a trip mine have always felt better once the tank is warmed up, and less so after a cold fuel fill up. I had a really tired pump a few years back that ran way better after sitting at idle and letting the pump get hot. They cool off at highway speeds.
