Caddy Blower Motor with AC

Yep, I am there. 81 CADDY. Lost all fan positions but HIGH. Searched and saw the procedure to solder in a new thermal fuze. Got it. But my blower motor sounds like it has squirrel nuts in it on HIGH. Sounded OK on lower speeds until fuze burned. Also read about dropping oil on bearings...not going that route.
I have owned this little truck for over 20 years, and I am not going to start half fixing it now. She's in perfect shape, and that is the standard I keep her. I also need to replace vacuum hoses, as HEAT only comes out defrost & vent, but not out of HEAT, a recent fault.
WITH AC. What is the part number for a new blower motor?
Wayne
I checked eBay MK1 autohauz, autohauzAZ, SAMBA, and parts geek. Without AC can find, just not with AC...

Essentially unavailable new. I used one from a cabby or rocco I think, took some fiddling but it worked well enough.

Advance Auto has:
Factory Air, which is a brand not a statement,
PN 75852 ($59.99), 75850 (128.99), 75837 (64.99), 75873 (104.99), 75851 (68.99), 75861 (104.99)
Factory Air single shaft CCXW w/o wheel 75787 (73.99)
Factory Air Double Shaft CCWLE 757.99 (91.99)
This is just looking at their website. I cringe at talking to one of their parts guys, because he won't know any details. He will be able to answer as many questions as "why am I sick, what is wrong?" like when you talk to a guy at the drug store Pharmacy (Pharmasist, not a doctor-Parts guy- not a mechanic). Don't get me started about parts guys here in Virginia.
For anyone who has replaced brushes and bearings, you have my attention.

Previous postings here and Vortex say with AC motor same on Shirrocco, no mention of Cabby. Do you have PART #?

I don't, no, it was a good while ago. I'm pretty sure I got it off ebay and it was either a scirocco or cabriolet.
If I can find any of my notes I'll let you know.

OK,
Found blower motor at Pep Boys. They had 5 (now 4) in stock.
Price. $$Ouch$$. It lasted 32 years. If this one last 32, that'll do.
Will post PN, and pics on replacement.

Test and lube the crap out of it, isn't a really fun (re)install.
Do post pics.

I think this is probably not a bad idea.
If you could somehow force some grease into it's bearing/bushing... I have this needle like attachment for the grease gun that would probably work for that.
The Chinese parts seem to come with bearings that have some grease on them which has the lubricating properties of peanut butter.

If they have bearings at all it's an improvement, I'm pretty sure the original one's were bushings.
Been years ago I replaced mine, think it was a parts store unit as well. It's always been a little noisy.
