WTB ASAP:1.6l rings
« on: March 18, 2013, 07:38:37 pm »
I broke a brand new oil ring installing it. I need one ring to finish putting my motor together. Can't buy just a single hole set as far as I found. Thought maybe one of you guys might have one laying around. The set of rings I have are Grant rings if it make a difference! Need to find one soon so I can get the motor dropped into my buggy before spring!

I have a ring that is brand new off the junk man's piston set. IIRC it is .020" over, so if you have an overbore I have a new one.

I should have an unknown engine standard bore that has been used like crazy, but I would feel bad shipping it to you.

Arizona Autohaus sells them by the hole I thought?

I did the same thing and have three extra sets of standard rings. Which ones do you need STD, 0.20 over? Mine are for a Non turbo. And from The Parts Place not the oem the other brand they sell in the blue box I can go get more info you need the STD rings.
