I moved this here as to not clutter that F/S thread.

I am not sure on low mounts.. but I think the k03 is the one by itself that has a different manifold and flange.

Whereas the k14,24,26 can share a manifold??? Not 100%.

Yeah a real upgrade would definitely be going to the next gen turbo, instead of a step backwards in turbine technology.

One per two cylinders? That'd be ideal...

They both can operate at 73% for a big efficiency island..... haha

never seen a full K26 that bolted to a VW manifold on its own..

the audi K26 used some weirdo T25 flange with a round portion in the middle, like the volvo's turbos were..

K03s are not big enough to run on ANYTHING besides a lawn mower, dirt bike, or your grandmas stock Jetta..

VNT15 FTMFW... unless you are in a mk2/3, it becomes harder to make it fit..

92 Jetta GLI - Black, 1.6D w/ GT2056V turbo..
86 GTI - 4 Door, Med Twilight Gray, Tow Machine..
86 Audi Coupe GT - Tornado Red, All Stock.. WRECKED.
89 Toyota 4Runner - Dark Grey Metallic, LIFTED!

Turbo: exhaust gasses go into the turbocharger and spin it, witchcraft happens and you go faster.

I'd put money on my k03 equipped diesel against yours ;) haha

Only cause you have no functioning vane control though lol.

ive also got a big FAT crack on #4 runner, and about 8psi boost @ WOT..

so, yea, you would DEFINITELY smoke me. but i would put on the better smoke show ;-)

and i HAVE TOO had vane control, just not ideal vane control.. K03 wastegate actuators just dont last long enough..

ive gone thru 3 actuators, the diaphragms tear out of them, and then my vanes quit working..
