This piece was cut and formed prior to 8v's post, so I thought I'd give it a go.  Dig the big shiny bolts.... lol  And the bullet holed hi beam gives some street cred.

cable ties or zip ties are your friend. I would do stainless bolts like that as I sell them but zippies are so easy to remove I usually go that route...adds to your street cred too.

5spd install update.

Just bought a mk1 Rabbit n/a 5 speed - pretty rough - ie; no rear axle and all weathered - but complete drivetrain

&

a 89 Jetta 1.6td -  not as rough, but rough - but complete and rolling  chassis

all for $300

So time to start stripping and planning my 010 auto trans to 5 speed swap  in Super car #2 .    ;D
