Feeler two 1.6 N/A engines

I have two 1.6 N/A engines one is in my car now and is good running engine. New head gasket new water pump new timing belt about 100K miles. Second engine was in the car when I got the car the PO had the head rebuilt and re-ringed the pistons. It would not start even with some starting fluid. I have removed the head and did not see anything that jumped out at me. Just looking to see if there is any interest for these. I am looking to upgrade to a 1.9TD will send picts apon request
