We got a killer deal. I'd look around for shops that could maybe make one custom and see what they'd charge.

I'm not trying to be an ass but I would consider anything over $300 for a custom VW exhaust to be "expensive" unless it was something exotic like stainless or all aluminum, or you used a really expensive muffler. The exhaust system on these is pretty simple and isn't very big, and mandrel bent tube isn't that much. Mufflers aren't that much either.Speaking of mandrel bent tube, a local guy who does a lot of custom work swears by this company, real good price on mandrel bent pieces. Columbia River Bends.
