VW Transmission ratio chart
« on: March 14, 2015, 02:27:57 am »
If you post/send me your transmission tooth counts, differential gear tooth counts, tire circumference in cm's, max RPM, Car model, transmission code and required units (MPH or KPH)
I will create and post the chart for it as per example below:

Also, once I have it done, I will make an exe available so you can create your own and play with different ratios etc.

That's the gearbox I have :)
Interesting that shift rpm points go higher every shift, that means I would better look at speed gauge rather that rev for best drag race results, or maybe get gearbox where shift points are alinged  ???
Could you increase engine rpm on chart to 5000? I think my 1.6 TD should pull to 5000 ok (also I want to see if it confirms my top speed calc.  :P)
1.6+holset MK1 Golf TDR /TurboDieselRacing
(no GTD because GT is grand tourismo and there is nothing grand and touristic in my stripped out lowered beast)
