pd 150 intake on 1z

Is this a worthwhile upgrade over the aaz intake Im going to be using now. Also will it work with a top mount k14 turbo? Thanks in advance.

I guess if I got the side that points toawards the drivers side it wouldnt hit... Anyone know why some point left, some right?
