on the topic of cheap tools, i cant count how many craftsman sockets I have broken.  I think I have broken 1 snapon socket ever.  And yes a snapon dealer will honor their warranty if you normally buy tools from him.

 this kit seems fairly priced, if I'm not mistaken it only lacks the puller for the sprocket. anybody have any personal experience with an ebay kit like this?

no but it looks good enough to use. Just make sure the holders fit well.
