all mk2 have height adj for normal 3 point belts... has 2 8mm allen bolts, 6mm heads, that holds it to the piller... gotta have the trim and bolts.... even passats do this...

all mk2 have them? wanna change your answer about that?

should i go take pics?

there are 5 mk2s on my property currently...

not a single one of them has height adjust 3pt seat belts...
92 Jetta GLI - Black, 1.6D w/ GT2056V turbo..
86 GTI - 4 Door, Med Twilight Gray, Tow Machine..
86 Audi Coupe GT - Tornado Red, All Stock.. WRECKED.
89 Toyota 4Runner - Dark Grey Metallic, LIFTED!

Turbo: exhaust gasses go into the turbocharger and spin it, witchcraft happens and you go faster.

i think he means the mounting holes for them, pull back your b-pillar trim and i bet theres two unused threaded inserts for the height adjust mechanism

yes, all mounting provisions are there...

like Chris said, you need the trim, and obviously the height adjustible part..

the height adjustible ones go up higher than the fixed ones, correct?

i said height adj on all 3 point stock belts.... passive.. nope... all have mounting holes for height dj piece... cause they lack a fixed one... gotta have adj piece...

get a b3 passat w/motorized ones... unless your a 40+ waist the lap belt does not even rest on one side of your hip.. ot canadian ones so my son could have proper fitting seat belt up front..
